It was not an easy process building a company that exclusively trains to eliminate the most-avoided subject matter anywhere called conflict. Over thirty-five years of conflict-in-the workplace experience has provided our teams with a richly extensive sampling of how mankind co-exists within the walls of our nation’s organizations. Cathartic in its very nature, we found ourselves purging the ghosts of conflict-past as the impetus needed to share and change the way business should be done, globally.
Our first question was to answer the “why” for conflict. Why do we find ourselves immersed in it, why does it occur as a part of our work life and most importantly, why does it have to occur at all? These pressing questions always led us back to the path of Zero Conflict™.
Conflict cannot be managed, it cannot be resolved and it cannot be a part of a thriving organization. Conflict is destructive, by every brushstroke of each letter it imbues on its victims. How better to eradicate a destructive force than to diffuse it by not allowing it to fester within the very walls it wants to reside.
We set out on this journey to talk to people about conflict. We researched the best alternative dispute resolution programs and we even ventured out to the streets of America to ask the general public what their experiences have been regarding conflict in the workplace. Our findings were nothing less than predictable and at the same time, surprisingly shocking.
